lost 4-6 0-6 Very difficult to summarize where laura is at the moment. Movement still a big problem and without that being improved will struggle to make the top 20 in the senior game.
Far too many unforced errors which is probably explained by her lack of matches. Overall a satisfactory return for the tournament as a whole but plenty of work to do.

Sloane Stephens has been very impressive in the snatches I have seen of her this week - she has just won the final comfortably (against Krunic), making it 2 titles from 2 junior tournaments played this year. She reminds me of Venus Williams in terms of looks, poise, maturity (no histrionics) and (for her age) power, so is one to watch out for. Hopefuly Laura will learn from playing her.
