The acceptance lists are out, and include the expected British quartet:

Girls MD

1  Laura Robson
12 Heather Watson
34 Hannah James
40 Stephanie Cornish

The only top tenner missing is Simona Halep, who won the event last year.

Girls QD

None

Boys MD

None

The only top tenners missing are Grigor Dimitrov and Tsung-Hua Yang

Boys QD

17 Alastair Barnes
2nd Alt Ahmed El Menshawy (will almost certainly get in)
9th Alt David Thomson (a chance of getting in)

Do you have time to give us a short Bio on El Menshawy. Have you seen him play ?

His name is starting to appear more and more and to be honest know very little about him.

Is he part of the Aegon team ?

Most of the junior tennis I watch is events like last week's Italian Open and the Copa Gerdau which are streamed and/or televised, and I have never seen Ahmed in any of these. However here is a recent article which gives you some background info:
