Started ok. Monaco is going for the lines much of the time and missing, especially on the backhand. Andy hasn't had to do a great deal to get 5-0 up. First serve percentage currently 76%.
A nice backhand down the line for a winner as Andy serves out the set 6-1. Still reluctant to attack the net even when Monaco is floating defensive shots back.

Abysmal game from Murray as he gets broken for 0-2. So passive, shots landing far too short, barely any attempt to make things happen. Monaco even wasted several chances before finally getting the break.
Monaco gifts Andy the break back with an attempted forehand drop shot that fails to make it over the net. Murray wasting an earlier break point with a careless backhand yards wide.
Monaco had the trainer at 3-2 up. Don't know the reason. I suspect he's doing the "Djokovic thing": Only 2 reasons I can see for doing that if you're not injured: 1. Slow up your opponent's momentum 2. A ready-made excuse when you lose. - Either way, he won't make many friends on tour. I particularly hate the excuse part. It's is unprofessional and disrepectful. - If you're losing, your losing; the guy at the other end is playing better than you - - no need to try to make a public excuse.
