Jennifer Ren was scheduled to make her comeback here, but unfortunately is a late withdrawal, but Jessica Ren has joined three of the girls who played the Spanish Grade 3 last week. Elisha Gabb needs a big week to avoid a big drop in ranking, as she was a semi-finalist here last year.

R2
(Q) Ekaterina Tugarinova (RUS) v (5)Jessica Ren (GBR)
That's a good win for Jess over someone who has beaten higher ranked players than her on clay this year. Sadly for Elisha and Lucy their results are in keeping with their year so far.
....the poor results emphasised by their opponents all losing in straight sets today. Jess continues in fine style though - her best result at this Grade

(3)Anna Arina Marenko (RUS) v (5)Jessica Ren (GBR)
The Russian is in good form, having won last week's Spanish Grade 3, so any further progress will be a bonus for Jess.
