Murray wins 7-6(11), 6-4, with Fognini putting a very easy smash into the net on match point.
He didn't play that well, but he won, and a first clay court quarter final, despite the easy draw, is nothing to be ashamed of.
And the even better news is that Nalbandian and Davydenko are trading breaks and are at 4-4 in the first set, so they've got a long way to go and hopefully will tire each other out.
I'm glad he won, but he didn't play very impressively today from what I saw. Though his effort yesterday to get back from 5-0 down must have been impressive.
At least he wasn't on court for long this morning so should have plenty of engergy left to do battle again this afternoon, by which time I hope he's woken up a bit.
