Well, we now know who Andy is playing, but not when. (Tomorrow sometime)
They have never played each other before. Juan is now ranked 59 but was as high as 14 last year, before injury problems. He bageled Marc Gicquel in the first set of the first round, eventually winning 6-0 6-4; so Andy will have to be careful not to trip over this one.
Monaco is a decent enough player, but doesn't seem to have fully recovered to the level he was at before he did his ankle in at Vina Del Mar last year, but has had a solid start to the season with a final in Buenos Aries.
Still though, on a hard court, you'd fancy Murray to come through in straight sets.
Well, well, well. No question that Monaco is playing really well, but what's up with Andy? He's really not on form today. Though it's surprising to their unforced error counts are virtually the same.
Andy got the job done in the end. But there were certainly more than a few wobbles along the way and that first set was very shakey. Monaco played really well though.
Well done Andy.

I'm never sure that having a bye in the first round is such a good thing - you are up against an opponent who has the advantage of being used to the courts and conditions, with a match under their belt.
Maybe that, and never having played Monaco before, contributed to the first set loss. Then as he got used to the court and worked out how Juan played, he came into his own.
