RE: Indian Wells QF - Andy vs Ivan Ljubicic

I'm trying to follow it, but the problem with being at home rather than at Uni is that the internet connection isn't so fast, so even on the 450K stream is still likes to buffer an awful lot.

Andy's just doing enough it seems, and I expect he'll get the break in this eventually, or take it in a tiebreak.

Another horrendous drop shot. . . *3-4

I know it's the heat of the day, but Andy seems to be playing far too passively. Maybe this is where he has run out of energy.

I'm beginning to think this could go to 3 sets, Andy is not convincing me at all at the moment.

controversy, hawk eye shows murrays shot lands on the line when everyone - umpire, lubo, lino, tv etc thought it was out.

Surprisingly, to me at least, Andy breaks after Ivan gets upset about a call he thinks was bad, he didn't believe the hawkeye call.

Andy to serve for the match at *5-4

and andy gets the break, really due to the iffy hawkeye call. the ball was coming almost vertically down, and even to me the hawkeye position just didnt match with what i saw. lucky andy. will serve for match.

the other thing is that if the lino didnt call out lubo had a fairly easy smash to put away to win the point,

Ljubo definately got screwed on that call either way; either it was out but hawkeye called the ball in, or it was in and he'd have an easy smash putaway but the linesman made a poor call.

Typically though Murray gets broken serving for the match - must be a good 2 or 3 matches since he has done that!

This is one of the most frustrating matches I have ever watched.

*5-6, and if Andy doesn't take this on a tiebreak, I'm going to have to go furious.gif

Much better service game from Andy and we have a tiebreak.

Pity he didn't serve like that the last time!
