GA are above the other 4 and award the same points as the slams

Except that Grand Slams points are doubled for the winner only (so they get 500 points instead of 250 from a normal GA). The system has always been fairly ludicrous as the G1 events that take place the week before a Grand Slam are always much stronger than the GA events.

Well done Heather on a succesful week.

Thanks for the info. What a weird system though!

Well Done Heather.

Some good news after the bad start at WTA level. Hopefully Anne can rectify that in the MD
