How cool is that, to go play tennis in Burundi when your 15/16! It's Uganda next week & Kenya the week after.

Not very, IMO. I would have said that the chances of someone from Western Europe spending 3 weeks in Equatorial Africa without being ill, possibly seriously ill, are pretty low. 

And here's what the Foreign Office has to say:

We advise against all but essential travel to Burundi
