Davydenko slightly the more attacking in that set and that was the difference, he takes the ball so early it keeps forcing Murray back on the defensive.

Shame, Andy just had no gas left in the tank, he was running on fumes right from the start of the match. It would have been a difficult enough match if he had been full of energy, but as it was. . .

One of these days he is going to be in an important match where HE has the luck of the scheduling. I hope.

Ah, pity, the result went in line with my head's thoughts rather than my heart's wishes.

As DD said though fantastic year, and more particularly absolutely fantastic second half of the year.

Now if he can carry that through the first half of next year ( and beyond ).....
