Man, and I thought he was quite good  wink.gif

So it turns out that he has only won his last 18 sets in a row.

My that Federer guy even beat him in that US Open final thing, so he has only won 14 matches in a row,

And it's not as if he wins all those sets easily, I mean he has a few tiebreaks, the last 8 of which he has won in a row.

But if he keeps working at his game, I am sure he could be fairly good one day.

Just back from the Masters. I managed to watch the Andy, Rafa, Fed, Roddick, Nalbandian and Jamie Murray matches on my 20 euro ticket - so I was quite happy to give the Davydenko game a miss in return for an early night.

Andy was very ordinary today, nothing particularly flashy. The setting of an old ice rink with three row of seats around it probably didn't help raise the quality. Verdasco was poor in the first set but both players served pretty well in the second and it was always heading for a 50:50 tie-break. I think Andy could have lost it had it gone to a third as he seems a bit jaded and wasn't 100% mentally - he resorted to swearing at himself and shouting at the umpire quite a lot.

Not sure he'll make it through to the semis.
