First serve wasn't up to scratch but easy nevertheless.
Edit - I have just checked and he got 60% first serves. . . just about every time I saw him serve it went into the net. The stream must have kept freezing each time he got one in
Got Bwin livestream to work and had to switch OS from my beloved Linux to M$ Vista to get the video streaminng up.
My life long revulsion of most of M$ stuff was fully justified when it downloaded a load of updates and then restarted the computer automatically, allowing me to rejoin the livestream after it was all over !
A plague upon the architects of Vista ! A rank amateur attempt at an OS !
Grrrr..... felt a lot better after that rant *LOL*
To be fair though, it is a match between two potential world no 1's.
Steven has pointed out how Andy leads the way from after Wimbledon, so if he can keep pace with everyone from now till a full year is up then he will be ranked no 1.
Well, I would point out that Golubev leads the way if you start the year from the start of this week's tournaments. With his 10 pooints for qualifying he is currently on 185 points more than anyone in the world. So if he keeps pace with everyone from now till a full year is up i.e. up to the start of these tournaments next year, then he too would be world no 1
LOL and if Boggo keeps pace with everyone for the next year, he'll be at least equal world no. 1 in a year and a week. Same for Rob Dee of course!
Andy's top of the world looking back almost four months though, that's why it's worth tracking his assault on the top three over the next year and not Golubev's.

I do actually think it is a very significant statistic about Andy. Hold his own for just another 8 months or so and he is number 1. Well really Paris, the Master Cup plus the first 6 months of next year.
