Tim - I gave you a link on page 1.

This is going to be tough for Andy. I feel if he loses the 1st set it'll be a big ask for him, especially after his exertions over the last 2 days.

quote:-

First Andy ended del Potro's 23-match winning streak.

Now he's ended Rafa's 19-match grand slam winning streak.

'Only'
Federer's 33-match winning streak at the US Open to go ... (he had a
W/O against Pavel in 2004 in case you're wondering why it's not 34)

And
now we can add to that birthday quiz I did about the spooky
similarities between Andy and Fed's progression up to their 21st
birthdays:

Which player, who had never got past a grand slam QF
before, didn't stop when they reached their first grand slam semi at
the age of 21?

Yes, that's right, same two answers, and Andy has reached his first slam Final around half a year younger than Roger did.

And
Fed knows better than anyone else what he did when he reached that
Final ... (though, no pressure Andy - after all, all Fed had to do
there was beat Flipper!)

But as my signature says (never mind
that it was originally about the DC and Boggo and will be again in a
couple of weeks' time!), 72 years of hurt never stopped us dreaming!
end quote

Andy is playing much better this set. Don't know if it will be enough though.
