Great wins for the boys with Cox and Willis dishing out thrashing (although what Cox was doing last week to lose I don't know) and Smethurst producing a great comeback.

Willis has a tough match next which I hope he'll come through, while Cox has a difficult match with Buchanan, who's similar ranked on the ATP list, so should be a good test for him and I think he could win it, but wouldn't be too surprised if he lost, and it wouldn't be a bad player to lose to as well.

Smethurst's lost the first set 6-3 though.

Marcus had at least one breakpoint in a long game when leading 2-1 in the 3rd set, but did not convert. As so often happens he was immediately broken. So he now trails 2-3*

Both matches presumably tommorow.

Buchanan won a futures earlier this year but Coxy beat him 6-1, 6-4 at Roehampton.

Cox had at least 3 set points in the tiebreak. First time I noticed the score he had 6-4, then 7-6 before losing 7-9.
