Ashley Watling beat Sudanwa Sitaram of India by 6-7(5)); 6-4; 6-4.

I would honestly be surprised if Heather won this tournament with Kurumi Nara in it.

The problem is that Heather will be tired tomorrow, where as Nara's opponent retired in the second after getting bagelled in the first.

Nara's not half as good as her ranking, though. Heather may have a little chance if she can shake off the effects of today's match.




Ash plays Ryan Lipman, who hasn't played enough this year for us to judge his level. Maybe he'll join college, so doesn't care about his international career. Ashley has a good chance in any case.
