Eleanor took out third seed Crompton by 2-6 6-1 6-2. She wasn't even seeded in qualies, forget getting a main draw wild card... what a joke.

It'll be interesting to see if Dean can compete with Hindmarsh if she wins her next match.

So the quarters look like -

Joanna Henderson vs. Emma Devine
Pippa Horn vs. Georgia Craven
Jazzamay Drew vs. Eleanor Dean
Kyria Dunford vs. Caitlin Hindmarsh

Luke Bambridge vs. Samuel Hutt
Harry Edwards vs. Lucas Poelman
Matthew Kirby vs. Joshua Ward-Hibbert
Christopher Pearce vs. Evan Hoyt

Pearce against Hoyt is an interesting match. Pearce has been doing well in the smaller European tournaments recently but Hoyt had a nice run in Hasselt last week. Thank God that Liam is not playing here as he's waaay too good for this.

Wow, Samuel Hutt!!

Shame that Eleanor lost, but she must be tired by now. cry.gif Congrats to Jazzamay, though.

I hadn't heard of Jazzamay Drew (that's one hell of a name!) before. She doesn't play in European tournaments, but seems to be quite good.

Hutt beat Poelman by 2-6 6-4 6-4.
Ward-Hibbert beat Hoyt by 6-4 7-5.

Surprised by both the finalists.

Henderson won by 0 and 2.
Hindmarsh won by 2 and 1.

Good effort from Kyria to get to the QF. Given international representation, I would have thought Henderson was an extra level above the other girls in this field? I'm surprised Watts ran her as close as she did.

Hutt took the title. 6-1 1-6 7-6(4)

Joanna won by 7-6(3) 6-3 but she shouldn't have played 18s.

Congrats to both.
