TB Time.... Murray's score on the left hand side

*1-0 - Djoko tries to attack with the bh but it goes just long
*2-0 - horrible dropshot by Murray but it works as Djoko's bh approach is poor, and Murray puts the bh pass away
3-0* - Ace
3-1* - good serve and bh return is netted
*4-1 - long rally ends with Djoko putting a fh just wide
*5-1 - short bh from Murray but Djoko puts a very easy fh wide... just too many errors which are killing him at the moment
5-2* - great bh return from Djoko but Murray recovers, until a terrible dropshot which barely reaches the net
6-2* - Djoko's turn to play a poor dropshot, Murray gets to it and Djoko nets the bh pass
*6-3 - bh return goes long on a 2nd serve... looks like a broken string though
*6-4 - good bh return and Murray leaning back puts a fh long
Game and Set Murray - bh from Djoko is long after he was in control of the rally

Murray leads 7-6(4)!!!

Murray had to win that set, as if he'd lost it when Djokovic had been that bad in would have been a disaster.

Murray's playing okay (but not great, 7 winners to 17 UE's), but Djokovic is playing some horrible tennis at times, making 31 UE's in that set, which is disgraceful really.

There have been some great points in the match, but on the whole the quality hasn't been brilliant

A great set of tennis from Andy - all it lacked was the break point conversions.

Interesting that you read it that way. I thought Murray was playing VERY well, although Djokovic has been far from his best. The match has been very interesting, although that's probably been my bias towards Andy kicking in.

Just popping in to say, what a set of tennis!! Yes Djokovic is making quite a lot of ues, but so much of that is because Murray has played him out of his comfort zone and is playing just great tennis. I still think anything could happen in this match but whereas before I would've said Nole was favourite, I have reversed my position. biggrin.gif

Right, back to the livestream (which won't work if I'm doing anything else at all hmm.gif)

Set 2 - Murray to serve - 0-0

15-0 - good wide serve and a bh crosscourt winner
30-0 - lovely fh pass from Murray but Djoko should never have lost the point with a poor volley, but before that a terrible approach which looked like he wasn't trying
40-0 - fh return into the bottom of the net
Game Murray - good serve and bh return is long

Murray leads 1-0

Unless Djokovic improves his level dramatically, Murray should not lose the match... Djokovic is playing horribly at the moment

Some of the UE have been to Murray good play but some of them have just been bad and without any reason and by such a large margin - Murray's not playing as well as he in the tournament, but is doing what he has to do

Djokovic to serve - 0-1

15-0 - better from Djoko, and he puts a short fh away
15-15 - decent return, but Djoko's fh hits the ball wall
15-30 - futures level volley from Djoko is long after a decent fh pass
30-30 - good hustle from Murray but Djoko puts the smash away
40-30 - nice bh slice approach from Djoko and he puts the smash away after a short lob
Game Djokovic - good fh pass but a nice fh dropvolley and then an easy bh volley putaway from Djoko

1-1
