How wrong could I have been? That said, delighted to be so! I certainly went to bed a happy bunny! I watched it courtesy of Channelsurfing (= a not very sharp image with the picture full screen! ) from just before the end of the eighth game in the first set until the end. Looking at some of the stats for the first set (AM: 48% of points won on first service compared with 63% for ND, 81% on second service/57%; 6 UEs to 15), I think I probably missed Andy at his best, as the second set was a pretty nervy, scrappy affair with those two breaks of service apiece. I thought NoDjo looked a bit out of sorts, but maybe it was just that Andy making him look that way... I was certainly impressed with the way he stuck to his guns & refused to give in!
Same time, same place for the appointment with Rafa. I know the latter's a supremely fit individual, but here's hoping that marathon first-set tie-break (it lasted 75 minutes, I gather - almost as long as some complete matches! ) he played against Gasquet has taken a little bit out of him...
The updates are done by me typing what happened as soon as the point finishes, so they are done while the player is preparing to serve (Djokovic's many ball bounces help here!), although I did miss a couple of points at times so made up what happened based on what I heard from the commentary!
Wow, I didn't look at FD's text commentary last night because I was watching the match, but I've just looked back at it now and it's amazing. A very selfless way to help those who weren't there relive the drama too.

Just adding my personal thanks to FD, I managed to get on the WAP the night this match was on, and FDs commentary really made myself and my brother's night. We stayed up to follow the match assuming the Beeb would have game by game updates but they never so I ventured over here hoping someone would be up doing updates.
Thanks again mate!

No worries - it's not that difficult to do... the biggest problem is the slow internet connection that means I sometimes miss points and have to make up the commentary (on the annoying MS TV scoreboard that is sometimes ahead of the stream!!!)
I'm still waiting for the BBC to give me the call to do the job for them...
