Toronto Masters 2008 QF: Andy Murray vs Novak Djokovic

Andy has yet to beat NoDjo (head-to-head 0-4), three defeats on hard, one on clay, the latter the most recent (Monte-Carlo this year).  He may take it to three sets, for once, but I can't see that record changing to 1-4 here, to be honest, unless he does something really extraordinary tomorrow! hmm

Well he has tried to lull Novak ito a false sense of security by apparently playing crap today, but still winning.

I do actually anticipate a much better performance tomorrow, but still take Djokovic to win in three.

Unless there's a drastic change in the level of play from both men this week, Murray will get absolutely thrashed out on court.

And considering Murray's record against Djokovic, I have no confidence in anything other than a straight sets win for Djokovic, probably 6-3, 6-2, or something similar.

Murray's in Davydenko's Quarter, and in Federer's half... with Gasquet in the R16... Querrey or PHM in round 2

Some fun draws as well, with Gasquet/Llodra in round 1 again, while the Kiefer/Blake semi in Toronto is a round 1 match here (with Blake in round 2)

Murray to serve - 3-1

30-0 - massive bh dtl is almost a clean winner after a long drawn out rally
40-0 - Djoko nets fh after a short angled shot from Murray

He's isn't doing anything special, but Djokovic is making tons of errors, just like Wawrinka did in the last round - much better from him today though

Murray to serve - 5-3

0-15 - long rally, ends with Murray going long with a routine backhand
15-15 - long rally, ad Djoko drags a fh wide for no real reason
30-15 - Djoko fh return into the net as he tries to hit it too hard
40-15 - stunning defensive from Murray with a low sliced forehand, and Djoko can only net as he attacks it
Game and Set Murray - Djoko bh return goes long

Murray leads 6-3

Good set from Murray... dreadful set from Djokovic.... Murray didn't really do a lot other than keep the ball in play, while Djokovic hit errors - he's 15 so far to just 6 from Murray, while Murray has hit 7 winners (don't remember that many though)
