The very old tournament played in Winchester (it has been an ITF tournament from at least 1993) that was played on Carpet has been moved to Scotland. I don't see what's the point in adding one more Har Tru tournament (these days our younger players seem to play on it all the time!) but if it saves money to hold back to back tournaments at the same place, so be it.

The big shock was Bettles beating Gee (who, if you remember, nearly got an ATP point in the same grounds earlier this year) by 2 and 1. He plays Oliver Golding now, so one of them will be very happy later today.

Vickers beat Walker by 4 and 3. Hannah MM beat Osadchenko by 36 61 30 Rtd.
Shame that she had to get in due to a retirement, but big congrats to Hannah on reaching her first final. She is only 14 years old, so the points will come into good use.
I can't see her beating Vickers in the final, though.
