RE: Boys: European Junior Championships - 2008.

Marcus' score so far with Poplavskyy is 3-6 6-4 5-1 and serving. They will resume that match today.

Thanks, should win it, then. Weird time to stop playing - I wonder if it started raining badly all of a sudden?

Anyway, Karusevich could be tough. He is ranked 880 in the men's game and last year he took Cilic to three sets in St. Petersburg. More of a hard/carpet player by the look of it, but clay isn't Marcus's best surface, either.

it's ok, he won the final set 6-1. There is no more play today because of the rain (i think).

Liam should beat Sporken. 50-50 between Willis and Karusevich, I guess.

I'm worried that they won't be able to finish the 18s tournament! It's supposed to get over on the 27th and they are on the round of 32 in both boys' and girls'. ashamed.gif Plus there's doubles.

Maybe they'll move to indoor hard? That should help Willis, so I don't mind. Also they could cut to two sets of first to 4 with a differential of two, followed by a super tiebreaker if needed. They had to do that in Roehampton last year.

Liam lost by 76(5) 67(7) 63. cry.gifcry.gif Must have been a great match.

Sadly he won't get to number 1 now unless he wins the season ending Masters and the other top 4 players loses first round. But it's okay... hopefully he'll see off the remaining 14s tournament and train hard for next year when he could have a breakthrough in ITFs.

Sporken went on to take title. So that's the second tournament in a row that Liam has drawn a floater who went on to win the thing...
