Jessica Ren lost to Yulia Putintseva by 67 (6) 36 Laura Robson beat Daria Gavrilova by 63 67 (4) 62 Joanna Henderson and Laura Robson beat Polina Leykina and Yulia Putintseva by 67 (7) 63 64
The girls final saw USA defeat Great Britain 2:1. USA claimed the first match with their number two player Kyle McPhillips defeating Britains Joanna Henderson 26 64 64. Laura Robson (GBR) then levelled the tie with a completely dominant display, defeating Grace Min 61 61. The deciding doubles drew a crowd to Prostejovs Court Number One. The British pair took the first set 64 as they stole the early initiative, as they had done in the first set of both singles ties this morning. However, Min and McPhillips replied in kind by taking the second set 62. A nervy start to the third set from the Americans saw Britain race to a 3-1 lead, before the US restored parity, then moved ahead for the first time in the set, ot make it 54. Henderson was unable to hold her serve and the US took the match 46 62 64, and with it the title of World Champions 2008.
Definitely more than ten anyway. She lost a set in one of the rounds.

I think from memory it was 20 games she lost 6 in the group stages 12 against Gavrilova in the semis and 2 in the final I ssume Ren must have been unwell she missed the final group match against Boliva played the semls and missed the final It would be a strange to drop her from the final if she was 100%
It kind of makse sense if she was not 100%, otherwise a strange choice for sure
The younger Ren was also out of U18 nationals; she was down in the main draw, but there is now a LL instead of her. So I think she is definitely either injured or ill. Hope nothing serious?
