Well, for Nadal I'd say it is certainly for a place in the final. It should be for Andy too, but there would be a heck of a lot more pressure on him in the semis, especially as if he had beaten Nadal the nation would presume he would win his semi.
Anyway, the little matter of this Nadal chappee first, and it is such a big match in its own right, I would be amazed if Andy had any real thoughts about his potential semi-final. I don't see it as being a factor either way.
I predict Nadal to win in 4 sets.
I also so much hope that Andy proves this prediction rubbish !!!
I have high hopes for this match. I think that regardless of the winner (and obviously I'm desperately hopoing Murray) it could be a great display of high quality tennis. I think Andy has the most chance of anyone in the draw against Nadal (with the expception of Federer, perhaps) but he has yet to beat him. Of course, he'd never beaten Gasquet before either and look what happened there. I don't want quite such a thriller as that one though, I don't think my nerves could cope!!

I think it will be Nadal in straight sets. He looks to be in fine form once again and getting that title at Queens will have helped as well. Murray will have to be on fire from start to finish to get through this one. If he does somehow pull it off he has a fantastic chance then to reach the final. However, the pressure would really be on as he would be expected to win that match as the better player and get further than Henman. You could see a victory tomorrow and then it all going wrong on Friday. Hope not but still think that Rafa will end the challenge.
Andy was talking about looking at the tapes of Tsonga v Nadal from this year and trying to work out from them how to beat him. That means aggressive, Andy!

Andy seemed to be assuming in the London evening freebies today that he'd be third on Centre tomorrow, but I see on Stew B's "Ticket" thread that it will in fact be second, after Federer vs Ancic. Given that I gambled & arranged to take tomorrow off so that I could watch the match uninterrupted (have things I can be doing in the morning...), I hope the forecasters have got it wrong & the rain holds off sufficiently for the match to be completed in decent light...!
Yes, Murray v Nadal is second on Centre Court. The first 2 matches on Centre Coutrt and No 1 Court would always ( assuming schedule is up to date ) be two of the men's quarters so I can't see how he was ever going to be third on.
I hope that his match does get completed. I wonder how much a stop-start match would have on both players, particularly if it went into the next day. Once upon a time, I think it would have really helped Andy fitness wise, but with the work he has been ding, not so sure it's now so much of an issue for Muscles Murray
I think Federer will beat Ancic in staright sets, which will help.
