Boys & Girls: Scottish Junior International 1 - 2008.

Starts on 19th June and this comprises of a Grade 5 at 18s level and a Cat 3 for the 14 and under players. Surface is Green Clay and the venue is good old Craiglockhart!

Ross Wilson (assuming it's the same one) will play in the 14s event. He's too young to do much, but it'll be a good experience.

All first round results are up in those links. No big shock in 18s (can't judge the 14s as I don't know anything about many of them).

Hopefully Rob Morgan will be able to beat Asciak and set up a clash with brother George.


Asciak has fallen a lot. cry.gif I remember that he was ranked something extremely high as a 14 year old in Europe. It would have been extremely cool to have a Tour player from Malta, isn't it? Hopefully he'll improve again and get there somehow...

Did see that Top Seed in 14s got knocked out in first round - shows how unrealistic the European Rankings can be

Maybe it's because he was finalist at the Nats 12s last year? Losing to Chris Pearce...

All second round results are now up. Bit surprised that George Morgan lost to Calnan.
