There are new singles career highs for Bally at WR 62, Anna Smith at WR 344 and Heather Watson, up 81 to 406, and new doubles career highs for Sarah Borwell at WR 73, Anna Smith at WR 161, Cav at WR 205, Heather at WR 453 and Amanda Carreras at WR 486.
On the downside, Katie has dropped out of the top 100, down 3 at 1033, and with her Jersey 25K win due off at the end of Miami, she could have trouble getting back in the top 100 any time soon.
Attention centres on Miami (GB top 3 + Heather) and Jersey (about half of the GB top 25) this week.

Next week's GB top 25 table is now up but the only significant GB presence is in the 75K event in Monzón, Spain, where both Naomis are trying to qualify and Katie & Anne will be inm the main draw. In addition, Heather is trying to qualify for the 25K in Alabama, Katharina Brown is trying to qualify for the 10K in Turkey and a handful of Brits outside the GB Top 25 are trying to qualify elsewhere.

Next week's GB top 25 women's table is now available - Helen Parish replaces Sarah Borwell in the table and it looks like about 11 of the GB top 25 are going to be in action in Belgium, Korea, the USA (including Robbo's return) and Croatia.

The 26 Apr WTA rankings were added to the GB women's top 25 table and all the other stats tables on Monday and there are 24 GB women in main draws this week, making this the busiest week for a long time.
There were new CHs for Laura (singles 269 & doubles 102), Heather (335 & 388) and Lisa Whybourn, singles 506.

The new (3 May) WTA rankings have been added to the GB women's top 25 table and all the other stats tables. There are new singles CHs for Laura at WR 254 and Lisa Whybourn, who has made it to WR 500 this Monday after all ... just!
This means we now have 15 women in the top 500. I only have year-end figures for this, but the last time we ended a year with 15 was 1999!
The only new doubles CH is for new entrant Hope Johnson, in at WR 1041.

With Heather's rate ascension, it's possible we'll soon have 10 in the top 300, and also have the #10 ranked woman higher than the #5 man. She still has a couple of months to make it happen before Georgie's points start to come off (unless Georgie recovers soon from whatever mystery injury it is that is keeping her out of the game at the moment).
The new (17 May) WTA rankings have been added to the GB top 25 table and all the other stats at the first link in my signature.
There are 2+1 singles career highs - Amanda Carreras up 21 to WR 397, Lisa Whybourn up 15 to WR 439 and Johanna Konta, up 77 to WR 266 - and 4 new doubles CHs, headed by Jocelyn Rae WR 217 and Amanda Carreras WR 372.

There does look a very clear top 10 at the mopment, both in world rankings, and on points earned this year.
I wonder who can next in time challenge that hierarchy. I would say Tara and Lisa are the best bets.
Everyone outside the top 10 do not benefit from being on the AEGON funding list apart from Jade Curtis ( Anna Smith and Naomi Broady are folk in the top 10 who are not on the AEGON list ). I wonder how much effect that has had for such as Joss Rae, who many of us felt very unlucky to have been dropped.

Of course, the LTA will claim this justifies it. A chicken/egg argument ...
