Thats the kind of stat we see with loads of Murray's (Andy) matches though, people seem to be able to get bps against him but he's pretty good at saving them. Of course, it makes for plenty of heart attacks for all us watchers.

Thanks for the scores Drew, I hadn't realised this was on now so I'm grateful I've been able to catch up...have they won yet?

Indeed they have!

Excellent win and good practice for Andy before his second round match.

bravissimo (after the first set wobble to get used to playing together again). Hopefully that's some good court time for Andy as well so he doesn't need to have a similar wobble against Tojo tomorrow.

I think they last played together in the Paris Masters in late October so it's been a while.

Andyhoo......... he's up 3rd on Centre Court tomorrow. About 8pm UK time. Great scheduling.
After noon which suits Muzzah and after 8pm is good for us. :)

Playing with brother Jamie, he lost 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 to Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic.

Not as straight forward as the scoreline suggests.... The Brits broke twice in each set... so they lost serve 5 times in all.

Pretty impressively close aginst the Wimbledon champions and no 2 seeds, and hope Andy got something out of it.  I think he'll need it !

Also good to see that Jamie seems fit and well.  Poor Devydenko and Roddick had partners go lame on them between the first and second rounds  wink.gif

Sorry, I just have a newrvous twitch in that eye,  and to fair, Andreev and Fish ( in particular ) have injury history.

Must be an injury problem... couldn't possibly be because they are out of singles and don't really want to hang around in Canada for much longer when they could be preparing to lose early in Cincinatti instead (although why anyone would want to get their early, I don't know... it's the worst of the Masters Series events and it's held in the middle of nowhere)

You have the love the draw here though, with the top half being so weak when compared to the bottom half.

Simon vs. Cilic
Kiefer vs. Blake
Murray vs. Djokovic
Gasquet vs. Nadal

The 2 QF's in the bottom half are better finals than anything the top half could produce!

Yes, it must be said that draws aren't exactly opening up for Andy lately, though no doubt they will do again in the future ( soon, please ! )

Myabe have redraws at the quarter final stage.  Your seeds are Nadal, Djokovoc, Blake and Murray. Oh and congratulations Gilles on beating Federer, now you've got Nadal in the quarter finals  wink.gif

And now Simon has seen off Cilic 3-6 6-2 6-3 & Kiefer, who seems to be going like a train at the moment, Blake, the only seed left in the top half, 1 & 2! eyepopping.gif

Go Kiefer!

Love watching him play, and it would be brilliant for him after all his injury problems if he could make a Masters Series final. (plus Simon in a MS final would just be wrong, even if I think some of the criticism he gets is a bit unfair)
