40-15 super running bh winner cc from M

The BBC 'not quite as live as kundalini' live update guy called it "a stunning backhand sizzle-pass on the run" biggrin

That was a stunning point on break point.

"It was so slippy out there," Murray says afterwards. "My groin's OK but my neck's quite sore, and I can only bend my thumb one way."

How many ways could he bend his thumb before?

A nice line from BBC man to finish it off!

He won, which was the main thing, but I think he'll have to improve if he's going to beat Roddick tomorrow.

First set was quite poor with him being far too passive, but once he started to be more aggressive at the start of the second set he took control of the match and never really looked in danger of losing it, other than through injury.

A bit lucky to get the break in the 3rd as Gulbis slipped at 15-30, and then on the break point should have put the smash away, but shouldn't have missed the volley after that.

Gulbis did get tight at the end of the match as expected, but Murray did well to get the break and played good last 2 sets, but needs to find a little bit more if he is going to beat Roddick tomorrow

Count, I don't know if there's a proper "treatment". It's both a great thing and a terrible thing to have, as I have discovered!

N.B. In case anyone is wondering, that's not my thumb on Wikipedia. I can't do that, I'm afraid.
