Oh dear - those famous clay court lovers Mitya & Evil were the last pair I thought they'd lose to having played so well so far. A good run for Ross though, it must help his ranking a fair bit.

Great to see that Ross will go up to a new career high in doubles. Looks like a promising partnership with Huss if they stick together. Are they planning on playing together at Wimbledon? Also, what about Ross being in the Davis Cup team. Could he not partner Jamie M in that? It would be another option for the team.

Let's hope so - & maybe a WC at Queen's...? I suppose it all depends on whether Stephen is prepared to accept Ross's suggestion that they try to make a go of it...!
Such a pity that they couldn't make more of what few chances they had today. The draw has opened up nicely. The only seeds left are Nestor & Zimonjic (2), the top seeds, the Bryans, having been dumped out by Cuevas & Horna 3-6 7-5 6-7, as I speculated yesterday they might be!
Jamie and Liezel take to the court tomorrow, 3rd match on Chatrier. What have they done to deserve such an honour? Their opponents, as yet unknown, they don't play until earlier tomorrow. With a bit of luck whichever of the two pairs win that particular tussle will be a tad tired for the next encounter.

Interesting! Was wondering when that was going to happen! They've been much quicker off the mark with the OoP today than yesterday! Not that that's going to stop me from keepng an eye on developments...

I think you'll find that all the serious stuff today is being played on Chatrier, Lenglen & Court 1 (plus a WD SF sandwiched between an over-45s double & a girls double on Court 2), with the outside courts being reserved for the wheelchair events (handisport), the juniors & the under & over-45s - not, I hasten to add, that I'm suggesting for one minute that any of those involved in those other events is less than serious about his/her particular business! That said the first match on Court 1 was an under-45s double, but it involved Guy Forget & Arnaud Boetsch. 'Nuff said...
