Blake losing was a good thing for me even though I had him winning. I have Tipsy reaching and the quarters and most people have Blake.
Nalby will win, I'm more or less sure. This is Chardy's first ever five setter.
Yes, sometimes losing a selection is OK, if it's going to cost ohter players even more. I had Berdych reaching quarters, so someone stopping Blake as well isn't a disaster. Since all 4 seeds in that 1/8 of the draw have gone, it's going to wash it out for almost everyone, except possibly the odd few who are betting on Bolleli.
Stan comes back to take set, hopfully Nalby wakes up and then things might not be so bad.
Coming to think of it... There are very few people who will have Tursunov/Chardy winning the next round - probably 10-15. And there are surely loads of people who have Nalby in the quarters (I have Almagro). So I'll probably break even or gain if Nalby loses.
Greenleaf - I've often thought along the same lines (actually wanting your pick to go out because you've not got him going further in the competition). I'm not sure if this really helps but it does make you feel a bit better.
I have Almagro in the quarters too so I'll join in with your Allez, Jezza

Allez, Jeremy!
One person predicted Chardy would get to rd 3 [no one predicted he'd get to rd 4] and only 3% [about 10 entrants] redicted that Turusnov would get to round 4.
So all those who predicted nalby to do well, would want Chardy to beat Dimi.
And I'd much rather have Almagro/Murray play Chardy than Tursunov.
Meanwhile, Reynolds and Martin VA are putting up a fight in their matches. I need them to win to minimise my damage, even though both those matches are dead for me.
Dima wins so well done Imo - whats your record like vs Steven?
i think I might have beaten him once, but no more than that (I'm getting better though, and I've consistently beaten him in rd1 for the past couple of pickems...except this one). Hmm, it doesn't look good does it!! But Steven's pretty convinced I'm the favourite to win our little battle this time. I'm reserving judgement - I've got experience of a spectacular fall in the latter stages of a pickem!!
Numpty's loss had been added to the web.
As for wanting people to lose. In the Q section with Blake/lapentti(?)/bolleli/llodra etc. Blake was the most popular choice for the QF spot, so anyone who didn't pick him there should be pleased he's gone out now, even if you didn't pick it. Of the players left in, Bolelli is the most popular choice, followed by Llodra (I think). Most guys have lost their QFist there, with Berdych, Tipsy, Blake, and Del pot all being more popular.
I'm one of the lucky few with a QF left there in Llodra, hopefully he can justify my faith in him!!

Oh dear. You've used the phrase justify my faith in him and the name of a French player in the same sentence
The one thing they won't do is that. They'll either a) Totally and unexpectedly knock out one of your QF picks or b) fail to turn up when you picked them for a QF spot.
