RE: Roland Garros Inter Board Pick-em Competition

Yes, many chose Isner as the winner.

Did anyone pick Isner to be 2 sets up on Chela?

Me! One of the easier decisions imo.

JL - if you look at the picks % analysis page, you'll find the answer in each case is 'not many' - but I think every player was picked to win their R1 match by at least one entrant, even the Q who's playing Rfa - though Bethan will be able to guess why that is!

Drew, I think I know what happened - Crtl-F doesn't work on those little 'code' boxes on the AM.com forum. It's much easier to find yourself on the proper results page.

steven and imo picking on you drew and to be frank it sickens me doh

there go your queens passes wink

jawdrop.gif I can't believe you would think such a thing of me. Count, where's your loyalty? I've been 100% behind you in every "lets overthrow Sheddie" conspiracy, and it's only my faith in your ability to beat Sheddie on your own that has prevented me from 'influencing' the outcome of certain pickems.

Drew, it would take far more than a fiver for Sheddie to buy my compliance in rigging a pickem. especially if said rigging required me to remove the entry of one of my favourite posters.

I'm devastated.
In other news, it's raining in Paris. And Mayer has also withdrawn, leaving room for the 7th LL. At this rate Boggo will get a LL spot!!

I think it's over for today in Paris. I finish the day at 78, which is four picks off the leaders, who all sit at 25 picks each.

It was a good day for me, with the only disappointment being that I failed to predict that Hernandez would beat Minar; the wrong picks were cases which most people will get wrong - Andujar, Odesnik etc.

Blimey, managed to pick up 19 points in total! Brings me top 200! I'M A BRITISH FEMALE TENNIS PLAYER!

That joke is really unnecessary. I apologise to all.

Ever so sorry.

Are we talking about the proper results on this site or the summary on AM.com, which was the only one up when you wrote yesterday, I think?

If the former, you're right, Ctrl-F does work in those code boxes, even though I remember finding it didn't a few weeks back, but I can find you by doing that on yesterday's results as well as today's. All very odd!

I just go to the results page on bt.net / competetions and click something like 'all results 1 to 300' or something...then I just go down the list...since these days the list is long I used ctrl-F to search. I never goto AM.com to look for results.

I was another who had Tipsy going through a few rounds. I also had Kiefer going to round 3 I think.

I'm top 200 at least!

Drew - that's even more of a muystery then. I wonder if it means the page hadn't fully loaded or something like that. Anyway, what matter si that you are on the list. smile.gif

For future reference, in the slam pick 'ems where we have hundreds of entrants, it might be easier to go to the individual table that's split by team and just look for yourself in the BT.net team there.

Play's over for today, I think. I'm now five picks below the leader at 24 points.
