She's 14... and dropped 4 games to someone ranked 272 in the world.

That, to me, is top 50 potential, and she has a game that at the moment looks like it can take her to the top 100 at least.

Extremely impressed by Laura from what I saw - very mature game for 14. She is again on a televised court tomorrow.

Barnes & Marsalek...win of the day....match of the tournament.......no more.....no less!!!! Extremely good, so pleased for them!! Well Done!!!!!!!!! at 1-6 1-4 it looked all over but to it around 1-6 7-6 then trail 2-5 to actually win 1-6 7-6 7-5 is something else.....what a match......Lewis was the best player on court by far & really kept a solid level through out.
Court 3 tomorrow.....make sure you turn up or tune in!!!

Laura played Jovanovski in May and lost 6-7(6) 4-6 but Laura seems to have the ability to learn from her losses. She lost to Konta 4-6 4-6 in May and then beat her 6-2 6-7(5) 7-6(5) at Roehampton last week, she lost to Oudin at Roehampton 7-5 2-6 2-6 and beat her at Wimbledon 6-3 6-1. Jovanovski is ranked three places above Johanna Konta so it will be tough and could be another very close match.

Hoping for another good match. Was so impressed that at "set point" Laura just gets on with the game and pulls it around. Still amazed at the composure she has. Can I borrow her "mental trainer" please!
