I do see your point though, but Laura is still young and in british terms is doing AMAZING! By world terms she's doing great.

Its true Laura really is playing well at the moment. But there are many 14/15 year old girls that can perform this good when their on fire.
She won today, defeating french star Mladenovic 64 64! so shes into the final! yawn

Didn't see the Konta match but the rumor was there was more going on than a tennis match. It appears not everyone is happy with Konta changing countries!!!!

I guess Laura - Johanna may have been a bit of a grudge match, in that they played in the final of that grade A in Italy (where Johanna won if memory serves).

Revenge for Laura this time. Great results again.

yes well i saw the match between the 2 young hopefuls and i do feel for Johanna- Robson blatently cheated on crucial points during the 3rd set especially in the tiebreaker. It was actually dissapointing to watch as she is such a talent. Johanna should have won the tiebreaker- therefore the match and who knows where that would take her. There were many people watching and they definitly didnt approve of Robsons behaviour (line calls in particular).

According to Marcus, Robson lost 6-2 in the 3rd and Smethurst lost in 2 sets , but not too sure of a score.

La Robson took a set off Oudin! That's freaking awesome - the best result of her career so far, in my opinion, given how Oudin normally just scythes through any sort of field with results like 61 62.

She lost 7-5 2-6 2-6, by the way.

Smethurst lost 5-7 2-6 to Rufin.

Thats sad to hear really. Hopefully she will grow out of this kind of thing.

What other kind of behaviour of Laura's wasn't so good?
