That's very nice of him, not that I necessarily appreciate it. Of course, there was less than 1 % chance of him not qualifying!

Still, good to see Chaudry get a chance.

Main draw starts today. Needless to say, draw isn't up as following tennis in the weekends is detrimental to the winning culture.

Akhazzan got in as a LL & I think Knights did.
Barnes plays Rufin, don't know full draw but leaving to go there in about 20mins!

Thanks for those. Hodgson is on fire, it seems!

Cox took out the seed in his section which is no shock. He should do very well here - semis last year and quarters in 2006. Although the bad thing is that that could leave him tired for the men's tournaments after Wimbledon...

Going out on the first day of RG was a blessing in disguise for him as he probably got much more time to practice on grass and that got him a WC in Wimbly qualies and a win over Bellucci, which was better than reaching the final of RG. Of course I am not saying he should tank, but I can't see how playing this is a great idea, given that he'll probably quit Juniors after Wimbly anyway.

i dunno .. i think they will probably add us open in their programme aswell .. be good for all the top boys here to pick up some wins which will give them confidence to take into the futures

Good point richo, junior matches are important for generally getting matches and for confidence. But i think all of the top 90's after wimby should be looking to concentrate on the mens. The only junior event after wimby should be the US open, and maybe one more imbetween.
