RE: Muzza is 21 today

steven, did you think this up yourself? If you did, we have conclusive evidence that Petchey reads either this board or andymurray.com

Just said during the Kiefer-Seppi match that "someone did a very nice comparison of Murray and Federer at the same age actually"

And then he listed all of the facts you've listed above, right down even to the Boggo one. LOL

lol steven, they should pay u! 1st the Dee story now this.

however it is a definate remimder that we should be very carful what we post, in the public forums as things certainly seem to be makign their way to the media main stream more reguarly, and whislt we look at things in a certain light others are more than happy to spin for a story.

I wondered when someone would spot that! wink

Gosh! I wish I'd heard it, but I don't have Sky.

Yes, it was all my own work, guv! Did he even mention the 'had a recent surprise loss to Ancic' and stuff like that? I wonder whether he picked it up from bt.net or am.com or whether someone else read it and fed it to him.

I guess there are people who get paid to do this kind of research, but the advantage of not getting paid is that you get to pick and choose what you look up.

Anyway, it's great fun when this kind of thing happens (though I did feel a bit guilty about the way the Rob Dee thing got out of hand, not that it was my fault that some of them did as I predicted and took the "worst player in the world" line) and if journos/commentators think this site is worth using for some of their research, we should be very happy about that smile

Edit: Kiefer-Seppi is the kind of match you're only supposed to watch if there's a pick 'em on! ashamed

Yeah, he mentioned the Ancic bit too. Mentioned every single thing on the list I think.

Anyway, this match has been amazing lol. Seppi was up 6-3 5-2 and choke it away 5 games straight.

Then at 6-3 5-7 4-5* Kiefer served for the match and choke. Now 5-5 and 30-30 lol

I don't know if any of you are watching the 2nd semi in Hamburg, but that other 21-year-old and nearly 21-year-old Rafa and Nole are currently showing quite how many miles ahead of Andy their game is at the moment. A brilliant gladiatorial battle for the world no. 2 slot.
