as you say there is more to it than the simple 1st serve %
I didnt see enough to form much of an opinion - sounds encouraging if it did seem better today - in the other games I've seen this year he had a lot of room for improvement in his 2nd serves.
Andy's playing his best tennis of the year so far. Nadal looks vulnerable. Watch out

This is also the best clay court event fo Andy to play Rafa at - this week's performances and the performance against Volandri last year before the injury suggest that it's the clay surface he performs best on, while it's the clay AMS Rafa has had least success at. In addition, Rafa's foot problems aren't going to be helped by playing the pleyr he himself admits is capable of giving him the runaround more than just about any other player.
If good Andy turns up, it could be quite a match!
