Rome Masters R1 - Murray v JMDP

Well this will be tough !

Playing monday approx 6pm our time.

I do hope he can play to some kind of form he is capable of.

Andy do yourself some justice!

That must be the worst qualifier he could have got.

I can't disagree with that.cry Del Potro, a 1/4 finalist last week in Munich. Let's hope Andy comes out all guns firing for this one.

I hope Andy will get him running around; he is a big lad and a bit "femmer" as we say up here - retires quite a lot. . . if Andy can wear him out without tiring himself out for the next round please.gif

dire draw considering who he could have got but I still think Andy should win if he's up for it.....JMDP is a lot better on faster surfaces, hard in particular from what i've seen....where the big serve and backhand get more cheap points

though having said that I didn't expect Andy to lose to Gilles Simon at this stage last year.......

Canas match still going and then will have to wait until Almagro beats the Italian guy...so perhaps 8pm for Murray ?

8pm if we're lucky - likely to be later than that - anyone know if they will keep playing on Campo 1 beyond 8.30 - does it have floodlights?

I have just had a look at the Almagro/Cipolla match and it seems to have floodlights.

Almagro just won, so Andy will probably start just before 8pm I'd guess.

Where do they think they are - Wimbledon?

I hope the match isn't postponed to an *early* start tomorrow!
