This is EXACTLY what I was trying to say - stepping down a level is often as difficult as stepping up. With all respect to Dimitrov, he'd probably struggle to take 4 games off an ATP top 20 player. Doesn't mean that Eysseric isn't good enough, doesn't mean he should play Juniors once more and doesn't mean that this was a match he wasn't motivated to win.


Not a reply to anyone, so don't take offence! More of a musing and I'm as surprised as you are at Eysseric losing in straights.
