Great run by Jennifer! Kovalets and Shakovets are extremely talented and I see that Otashliyska has been to a G1 quarters this year.

It'll be very tough but I think she has a half chance of winning the title here given that none of the remaining players are too far ahead of her.

I am confused now ... The web site now says that Hannah James beat Bakieva in the QF 3-6 7-5 6-4.

So it was an all GBR semi final which Hannah James appears to have won as she plays Meliuk in the final, beating Easterbrook in the semis.

Congrats to Michael. G3 is quite big a title.



Yes, looks like the Rens are improving once again, which is great. The last year wasn't especially good for either of them.


Jennifer should now be ranked close to 212 (improvement of around 33 places). I think that'll get her a wild card into both Roehampton and Wimbledon Juniors. At least in a free and fair world she should - she is sixth in line according to ranking and probably deserves it more than all of them ahead of her barring Moore and Robson.
