What will Murray's ranking be by end of the year ?

Opinions ???    Most people on his site seem to think no 4......personally I think no 5/no 6 is more likely

I think I went for 5th in their contest - behind Fed, Nole, Riff-Raff & Pics. For at least a couple of days, I was wishing I hadn't had Duckboy out of the top 8 LOL

I'm going to say number 6 or 7 as I'm still not convinced by his ability to score enough points in the clay court season to threaten a top 4 place

Fed, Nadal and Djokovic will be the top 3, and I think Nalbandian looks interested enough to score more points than Murray this year, and then you have Davy, Ferrer and Roddick who will all pick up quite a few points

Murray needs to start beating the top players when it really matters as well if he is to make the top 5

Who the hell is "Pics" ?? biggrin.gif Seriously....we ought to have a translation thread in every section....I have no idea....it surely can't be Ferrer/Nalbandian/Gasquet/Youzhny/Roddick/Davydenko who I'd have thought were the main contenders for that spot

hmm surely Steven couldnt have thought Robredo would end the year as no 4....he's been in dire form for ages and will be surprised if he ends the year inside top 25

Pics = Ferrer

The David Pics Ferrer thread on MTF will 'explain' it (and the first few hundred posts are recommended reading if you need a laugh)

You're so out of touch, David LOL smile.gif He's been Pics in Pick 'ems since last summer. I'll forgive you though, since you a) put Pics as the first sensible choice in your Pics/Numpty/Dammit/Misha/Duckboy/Undertaker list and b) didn't think I would be stupid enough to have gone for Rock On to end the year 4th! biggrin

(and thanks for saving me having to find the link to the original source FD smile.gif)

Top ten, but not top five. Probably 8 or 9.

And Nole will be #1.

Top 8, probably not top 4 (where there is only really one place up for grabs, and Andy's clay game probably impedes gaining points at the MSeries/French open). I would go with 6/7.

All, lack of injury presuming, of course.

We have never really seen Andy's clay performance. Last year he was injured at the start, the year before he had just split from Petchey and was coachless when he was really too young to cope alone.

I'm sitting firmly on the fence until we see how he does on the red stuff!
