Well with that wind Drew, I think it comes down to who handles the conditions better. Melzer has a right old see saw match with Melzer under his belt, whilst Andy has the doubles match.
I think Andy has the edge here in that he clearly revels in the conditions (ref: last year's tournament) and has a lot more brains to his play than Melzer. I think it won't be difficult for Andy to get under Melzer's skin here and frustrate him.

I'd love to have seen that match with Melzer against Melzer. Boy, he must have run fast. Good with the wind behind him but the other way, quite a struggle.
The SKY commentators reckon Andy copes well with wind so if he gets past Melzer that could help if he meets Karlovic and Roddick.
Good time for us to follow it, but will he be awake?
7pm here, then.
OOPS! I just checked the world clock, and it is saying a 7 hour difference between California and the UK, which would make it 6pm. Has there just been a daylight saving brought in in the US or something? I'm convinced there was an 8hour difference earlier this week.
Yes, until a couple of years ago, the clocks changed in the US on the first Sunday in April, but they now change on the 2nd Sunday in March, while ours change on the last Sunday in March. So for these three weeks, California is 7 hours behind instead of 8 and Miami will be 4 hours behind in its first week, the usual 5 hours behind in the 2nd.

Well, nott aking anything for granted here but I think Andy shoulkd have the advantage here and the doubles win will have done him the power of good. At the end of the day I think Meltzer will be easier than Safin could have been.
