Broken back. Donkey is actually the aggressor in this match. At the start of this set Andy hit out a little to get the break but has gone back to Mr. Passive now

That was a gruelling game. 4 or 5 Deuces and Davy holds. Could be a momentum killer for Murray in a big way. 3-3

Andy turned into a disgusting swearing whingeing child again after his mature behaviour against Fed. I'm embarassed to call myself a Murray fan right now. No more updates from me.

Only just started watching and it's not looking good.
He never looked completely comfortable from the start - & just when I'd discovered that, if you click on "Undock", the picture goes full screen! DD's obviously found the key to Andy's game, Drew!

I agree John.
I also noticed that the crowd changed as well, they had been cheering more favourably for Andy at the start. I dont know why the umpire didnt issue at least one warning, it is such a disgrace, especially with so many young kids in the crowd.
Is it me, or is anyone else wondering if all the talk about what a great player he is is founded on anything of substance? Okay they all have off-days but with Andy they seem to occur on a regular basis. He's good, but inconsistent, petulant and sometimes his choice of shot poor, e.g. the last shot of this match. I'll be interested to read what he has to say about the match this time round. Perhaps beating Rog has affected him this week? Who knows - I don't.
I just think he needs to grow up a LOT. I don't think the excuse of "he's still young" can be used to defend that behaviour. He's 20 years old now. He's a MAN. I think to try and excuse his petulant attitude with that is now un acceptable. It's an insult to people of that age who have to act like grown ups and go out and earn a living for themselves.
It's about time he realised he has more responsibility than just his results. Whether he likes it or not he has a large junior following and he IS a role model. Acting like that is completely unacceptable.

Agree about his behaviour. He needs to get that sorted as it does not make him look cool or anything. Lads of his age are at war and having to be men which at nearly 21 he is. The commentators were so embarrassed at his language. He needs a few gentlemanly henman attributes. If he was a junior the lta would probably be telling him off.
Very disappointing. Just don't understand why Andy knows how to behave against Federer but doesn't give the same respect to other players or to the spectators. His mum thinks he has grown up - I'm not so sure. Poor.
Andy is a bit of an enigma to say the least. The way he played against Federer was so mature, as was his interview afterwards - indeed, he usually comes across as very mature and intelligent in interviews, and those who have commented on interviewing him have tended to confirm this. Then yesterday he deteriorated a bit, and today he was back to Kevin the teenager again. (with apologies to Kevin!)
If he was Johnny Mc and it helped, I wouldn't mind that much, especially if he kept it a bit quieter. Indeed, if you watched Henman closely and were able to try even basic lip-reading, you'd have noticed that he tended to use the F word just as much as Andy, he just didn't shout it out very often!
However, it clearly doesn't help Andy - foul-mouthed Andy plays at about 50-100 in the world, whereas Zen Andy plays at top 2 or 3 level. N.B. obviously I realise that working out what comes first, i.e. the swearing or the bad play, is like working out which came first out of the chicken and the egg.
What was really shocking today (partly yesterday too) was how determined he seemed to be to prove Fed right. And who on earth was responsible for deciding that when you can play 9/10 different types of games better than your opponent, you should try to play them at the one type of game they're better than you at? In the words of Kevin (probably) ... DOH!!!!

hmm - and we seem to be turning into the language pedants club.....
Comes with the territory for me, I'm afraid, Rob. You can't spend years in a profession in which accurate use of language is your stock-in-trade (technical translation + the occasional spot of proof-reading) & expect to be able simply to turn it off & on like a tap when you no longer exercise it! And unless you're one yourself (not to mention a bit of a perfectionist! ), care passionately about the fate of your mother tongue & despair of the atrocities most other people inflict on it because they don't, you can't possibly appreciate just how irritating it is to see common or garden words such as those highlighted on the previous page consistently confused and/or misspelt!
