Unfortunately, I did see most of it - a classic 'lazy English' performance with no aggression, moonball returns and dodgy droppers when he couldn't be bothered to do anything else. Maybe he wants a rest befor Dubai & IW, but I think it would have been better to take advantage of the good draw here and try to get a top 8 seeding for IW - he might get Fed in the L16 in Dubai too!

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Andy Murray crashed out of Rotterdam, losing 5-7 3-6 to Robin Haase in the first round after a disappointing performance.
For once, Murray's superb return of serve failed to turn up; having missed out on two break point opportunities in the very first game, he did not get another chance to break serve all match. By the second set, Andy couldn't even manage to make an impact against Haase's second serve, winning just 20% of the points.
Despite being under pressure for much of the opening set, it looked as though a tiebreak would be needed, until Murray's first serve deserted him serving at 30-15 5-6; Haase a deserved winner of the first set.
Games went with serve in the second set until Murray was broken for 3-5 and Haase served out the match without further difficulty.
