RE: Marseille R1: Murray v Huta Galung

Huta Galung was Murrays room mate at Sanchez Casal academy. Pretty interesting fact. Im sure they knew each othres game pretty well. Pretty solid win.

Nice to see Andy winning. I had to go into town and I couldn't watch it anyway, was quite afraid he'd muppet out first round, very glad he hasn't!!

I was almost in the same boat as you imoen. cry We had visitors! furious I'm surprised there were so many breaks of serve. It looked a bit too close for comfort, but now it's outta the way perhaps Andy's nerves will be settled and it will be onwards and upwards. date.gif

"The first set was very average but the second was much better," said Murray. "It comes and goes with my knee.

"There's pain with some movements but I have to live with it. I'd love to have a strong knee but it's not the case."

Quoted from BBC Sport, I'm sorry but I find this such a negative statement I don't really see any reason to make it.

If you don't have what it takes physically to stay at or make the top, then have the sense to do something else. Otherwise learn to keep your own counsel.

This just has the sound of 'me dog ate the homework'

I don't think it's fair to be overly critical of that statement by Murray. For a start it was likely to be a response to a direct question, and I like the fact that Andy will answer questions where others would choose not to. and if it really does come and go and has been for a while then he has been keeping his own counsel as this is the first we've heard of it.
