There are also new singles CHs for Josh Milton at 306 (he also moves up to GB no. 3, though Evo will become the third GB no. 3 in three weeks next Monday

If Baker wins Cumberland he would then become the fourth British number 3 in four weeks.

Would be nice if they could chase each other up the rankings

I may be wrong, but actually I've got my doubts about whether they'ed care that much at all about who is GB 3, 4, 5 etc  but be very much more interested in their world ranking in the first place.

New (8 Aug) ATP rankings now added.

James Ward jumps 30 places to a new career high of 144 following his Vancouver win - inside the top 150 for the first time. There are also new singles CHs for Oli at 776, Lewis Burton at 833 and James Marsalek at 927.

James and Lewis also hit new doubles CHs of 238 and 468 respectively, while Liam Broady soars 269 to a new doubles CH of 717.

In the game of musical chairs behind James, Evo spends a week as GB no. 3 at WR 311 but Jamie B (despite dropping from GB 4 to 6 today) will overhaul him next Monday and may even be back in the top 300.

Updated with 15 August 2011 ATP rankings.

There are new singles CHs for James Ward, up 4 to 140, Edward Corrie, shooting up 499 to 753, Lewis Burton, up 17 to 816, and James Marsalek, up 74 to 853.

Apart from the top two, only one of the GB top 10 (Dan Cox at GB no. 5) has escaped today's 'reshuffle', with the big movers being Jamie Baker, the fourth GB no. 3 in as many weeks (after Cox, Milton and Evo) as he rejoins the top 300 at 293 (up 29) and Josh Milton dropping from GB 4 to GB 8 as he falls 48 places to WR 365.

There are new doubles CHs in the top 500 for Andy Murray at 77, Sean Thornley at 223, Dave Rice at 227 and Lewis Burton at 461.

With 34yo Nick Lester leaving the rankings today, Bloomers is now GB's oldest player with an ATP or WTA singles ranking at the tender age of 28.

Not sure if it's new or not but I see that Marcus has an 'official' website now http://www.marcuswillistennis.com/

Anyone fancy taking him on the offer of a 1 hour hitting session for £39!

There's a link to it on the table already (the "O" links in the little block of links just to the right of the player names go to official websites) so I must have come across it at some stage - I can't remember when, but that means it must have been around for a while.

Oh OK, I tried clicking that link but it came up with a freewebs page not displayed. I thought it might have been one that Sheddie made a few years ago similar to the Jamie B site but it looks like you might have just typed the link in wrong?

It took me a few minutes to solve that mystery because the link was correct and it worked fine if you clicked it in the spreadsheet itself - it only went wrong when I clicked it on the webpage itself. Turns out I hadn't put an "http://" at the start of the link for Marcus and in that case, the web page produced assumes the link is relative to the place you click it from, so it is trying to find it the page in the same directory as the table is in, hence the freewebs error.

It should all be sorted now, and the link for James Ward's site (which had the same problem) has been corrected too.

Updated with 22 August 2011 ATP rankings.

The only Brit hitting a new singles CH is James Ward, edging up 1 to 139. He has a new doubles CH too (234), and there are also doubles CHs for David Rice at 234 and Michael Suleau at 986.

Thanks for letting me know. I've been having problems with the Net all weekend, so they probably failed to upload - I've just re-sent the files and they seem to be there now.

Does anyone else think Steven should alter the smileys he uses on his chart, in particular the offensive 'sleepy' smiley. Steven uses this smiley to demonstrate that a player is having a 'week off' but i think it helps perpetuate the misconception that British players are lazy by signifying that a week off means a rest week. The majority of the time these weeks will in fact be full of hard work in the gym etc so i think it only right that a site that is so prominent should find an alternate smiley to signify this.

i'd also like an injury smiley to indicate if a player is resting due to injury.

thanks.

I think The Count is being a tad over sensitive.
