It's Baker or Bust this week after James, Edward and Josh all went out today, albeit after a relatively good week in which Josh and James both went further than they were seeded to get. Oddly, the LTA's this week in tennis feature mentions James & Edward's runs, but not Josh or James. Anyway, http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm has been updated accordingly and I'll add in Jamie's QF result when it appears later tonight.
Re. week 9: an impressive 15 or 16 (depending on whether Jamie Feaver appears in Castel Gandolfo qualifying) out of the 21 active players in our top 25 have got DAs or are taking part in qualifying for next week.
Missing are:
- Andy (resting before Dubai, IW & Miami)
- Rushby (possibly injured in Cuba this week)
- Irwin & Brewer (seem to have given up on Thailand as a bad job and decided to leave Flan in qualifying there on his own this week, even though they too would have been seeded high in qualifying had they stuck around)
- Matt Smith (was on the Alt list for Faro, but doesn't seem to be making trips out of the UK just to play qualies at the moment)

Bloomers wn and Flan w/d added to http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/2008wk09.htm along with a little new section which shows (for the top 25 only) points gained so far this year (including Futures points that aren't going to be added for another week or more) and tournaments played, since that's so easy to automate on the sheets. It'll hopefully be helpful as a check to whoever is compiling the full list of net points this year too.

The main link to the GB top 25 table at http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm now points to week 9 - you can get back to week 8 (and earlier weeks) using the previous week's table link near the top left of that page.
The week 9 table has been updated with the new official rankings (new career high for Skupski, 658) and now contains all of the information that is readily available.

The busiest top 25 table since the new type started can be found at http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm, updated with all of Monday's results and draws and including the names of four Brits outside our top 25 who are in Futures main draws this week - two of them have already won a main draw round!
You can also see at a glance who is due to play on Tuesday - I'll only do this garish highlighting for R1, since that tends to be the round that gets split over two days.

Come on, it's not that hard to understand if you've got a vague idea of how tennis works. LOL(completely incomprehensible if you haven't got a vague idea, obviously, but it was never meant to be for the two weeks a year mob)

> although when the page opens you are assulted with a host of information
That's the whole idea - you can look on the ATP or LTA sites if you want to find stuff that's easier on the senses but doesn't give you any background, or if you're happy to go through lots of pages (yawn!) to find the info that's all together on that table.

To me the smiles for: still in tournament, but has not gone further than the round he was seeded to reach yet and has reached one round further than seeding and/or beaten a higher-ranked player look the wrong way round?
surely the bottom one should have the bigger smile?
