All Futures qualifying results and main draw R1 opponents where known are on the week 7 GB Top 25 table at http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm

Shockingly, four Brits were seeded to qualify for Futures this week and none of them even made the final qualifying round doh

though Jamie Feaver did make the FQR, which is where he was seeded to get to.

http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm is now up to date, though still awaiting Rushby's R1 result in the much-delayed Havana Future.

http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/2008wk08.htm has a preview of next week's table, with DAs (and links to where the main draws will be) and Alts (and links to where the qualifying draws will be - if they don't appear in qualifying, it's usually fairly easy to guess from the Alt number whether they scraped in as a last-minute DA or haven't turned up at all) as well as PTDs shown.

Current now includes Andy's win, 2008wk08 now includes the Laksi (THA) qualifying draw. Links in the previous post.

I'll be adding other qualifying draws to 2008wk08 and converting the Alts to DAs or no-shows as appropriate as the remaining qualifying draws get published.

http://www.britishtennis.net/gbtop25m/current.htm now shows the week 8 GB Top 25 table, updated with the 18 Feb published rankings and info from all qualifying results / main draws that have appeared so far. The second Zagreb Future seems to have a complete information blackout at the moment!

I have also added a couple of extra things to the current/week08 and the weeks 5-7 tables:

- near the top of the page: previous week / following week links, to make it simpler to go back and forth through successive weeks

- at the bottom of the table: a list of all Brits outside the GB top 25 who have made Futures main draws, with brief details of how they got there (DA/Q/LL/WC), the round they have reached ("in") or been KO'd ("out") in and how many ranking points they have scored, if applicable - that will make sure the table shows all ranking points gained each week

- just underneath the table: a list of all Brits outside the GB top 25 who, at the start of the week, made significant moves up or down the rankings or entered/re-entered the rankings

There are no less than 14 GB men in singles main draws this week - 2 have already lost but 12 have yet to play a main draw match, most (but not Hair Bear) will play on Tuesday.

Josh has scored the first GB ranking point of the week, we are awaiting MD R1 results for 6 of our top 25 (+ 2 more in Nigeria outside the top 25) and 9 of our top 25 have gone out without scoring this week.

Results are slower coming out of Benin City today (though Edward did say there were half a dozen matches on each court today, which may explain it) and results from Havana & Brownsville probably won't be available until around midnight given the time difference.
