Does anybody know where the next tournament will be for the lads currently in Costa Rica?

The Copa Gatorade in Venuzuela is next week: If the boys are doing what Evans, Ricey and Cox did last year, then I'd guess they'll end up there.

- bit of a comedown though:  Orange Bowl, Coffee Bowl and then down to Gatorade Bowl....

Great fighting stuff from Thommo, amazing last few months from him....from nowhere to top 100 !

Watling's been the one one to take a set off Cunha so far

haha if watling didnt have sooo many tight nerves in his body while serving at 7-6 4-1 against cunha then maybe he would have won, and also if the umpires could see the lines at 7-6 4-3(30-30) when he hit 2 bhand winners down the line that were proved to be in, then maybe he also would have won! Thompson and Watling are in the final of the doubles to be played tomrrow afternoon and Thompson was unlucky in his match with cunha and lost 7-5 6-4. Thompson and Watling for the wimbey doubles title!!!!!!!!

The quicker you fight your way up to the level where Hawkeye is used the better then. . . biggrin

Good luck in the doubles.

That result was reversed.

Final

THOMPSON (GBR) / WATLING (GBR) Vs SOUTO (VEN) / VAZQUEZ-VALENZUELA (ARG) (7)

Happy to see that doubles score was corrected biggrin

Based on just reaching the doubles final, Thommo is up to no.73 and Ashley looks set to rise to no.128.

If they keep this up next week Ashley could make it 8 lads in the top 100, and hopefully Short can have a good week. Any word on if Matthew James is going to play any junior events soon?
