Davydenko can beat Federer though, as his groundstrokes are probably better than Federer's, and the last 2 years he should have beaten him in the semi finals, but choked on both occasions.

I certainly don't dismiss the chances, especially as Federer has not won a mandatory event since last years US open, but Davydenko is still the underdog.
Ah, Madeline, I wondered if my partner in crime would have gotten out the pins again for the occassion, don't worry I'm adding all my sharpest pins to the mix, we should have Andy safe at number 4 by the end of the night. I think Roddick v. Gonzalez might turn out to be the first time ever when two players lose a single match

So is that Andy defo at No 5 come what may and No 4 if he wins QF ?
He is definately No 5 and almost certainly No 4. He can only fail to go to No 4 if he loses against del Potro and either Roddick or Gonzalez win the tournament.

Well A-Rod and Gonzo sure aint going to win it...BBC say he is defo no 4 already...thats the beeb though.
sky commentators said 4 too. but prob dont know bout a-rod and gonzo.
Or maybe just don't believe either of them will win the tournament? Frankly neither do I, but it is not a cast-iron certaintly until Andy wins the next match or both of them go out (and as they play each other next, one of them will, I'll save my voodoo for whoever of them wins)
Come on guys, you don't seriously expect the "experts" on either BBC or SKY to have a clue what is actually going on do you?
It is of course very unlikely that Roddick or Gonzalez will win the tournament, (although I hope one of them reaches the final) so Andy is almost certain to be No 4
Congrats Andy!! And well done Mad and Imoen for the voodoo pins.
So (assuming D-Boy and Gonzo don't win the title, or Andy wins his next match) Andy now matches Tim and Greg's best ever ranking... in the same week that Tim finally relinquishes his GB 13 ranking and drops off the list.
Will Andy be able to climb to third on merit... or will he have to wait for the Fed to retire?
