Amazing if it's true. It could, and I hope it's not, be the biggest mistake in Andy's career when he comes to look back years down the line.
When Neil Harman writes, the rest take notice. But, on this occasion, let's hope he's wrong - unless Andy has a major surprise lined up (and I don't mean Jeremy Bates or Barry Cowan!)
Stunned. Murray has come on loads under Gilbert. Who does he turn to now? His big bro Jamie has not done that great in the doubles since splitting with Booty.
Having had a chance to digest this surprise, I'm not too fussed about it. I think if the relationship wasn't working then it should be ended, and it's a good time to end it at the beginning of the off season. and from what I've read Andy's not going to be going to tournaments on his own, he'll still have a great support system. Yes Brad is a great coach, but if he's not the one for Andy then it doesn't matter how great he is.
I am interested to see what happens with Brad and the Lta though, will he concentrate on the lower ranked Brits? (are Boggo and Baker about to get a top class coach?!) or will they simply part ways?

I don't think that we can be too shocked by this. Brad and Andy was never going to be a long term relationship. You have two people with enourmous egos who are both convinced that they know best and it was always likely to end badly. That doesn't mean that the original decision was a mistake, far from it, Andy has benefitted hugely from the last 16 months and he is close to being ready for an sustained assault in the major tournaments.
What Andy now needs is a coach to work on the technical aspects of his game. While he should take advice on tactics and strategy it is time for him to call the shots himself and trust his own judgement and instincts. While he has the excuse that his coach's tactics are wrong he will never be inclined to challenge himself on the subject.
