I have added Indianapolis into the schedule, but I can't get it into the same font and size as Tim's original so it looks a bit odd! Never mind, it is there at least.

I don't think so - but there is the Davis Cup then.

The US Open runs from 25th August to 7th September. He'll propbably then take a break/train and return for the Davis Cup match against Austria at home which takes place between 19-21 September.

Probably doesn't know how he'll be feeling after DC and daren't risk entering for another tournament he might end up wanting to pull out of.

i was thinking the same thing, he's already had his fingers burnt with a late withdrawal penatly, doesnt want any more, but i am sure a WC would be avalible if needed so its better to be safe. plus he's had tough summer, going deep in a lot of events, doesnt want to be too tired for the YEC

Apparently Andy is down as an early commitment to defend his title in St. Petersburg. I don't think the entry list for that will be out yet.

I would expect him to play at least 1 and maybe 2 events before Madrid.

No doubt he will have a week off after the Davis Cup but w/c 29th Sept there are events in Tokyo, Metz and Bangalore and w/c 6th October it's Vienna, Stockholm and Moscow.

As last years runner up in Metz they would probably give him a wild card at a fairly late stage if he asks nicely.

According to the front page of the ATP website, Andy has now officially definitely qualified for Shanghai yippee.gif

Andy will be top seed at St Petersburg  (well unless Davydonkey overtakes him)

Which is very unlikely. He would have to retain his title in Moscow and win the Masters in Madrid to have any chance.

... and the Madrid points won't go on until after the seedings are done for St Petersburg anyway.
